The unique "S" shaped curvature of the jaws makes it contoured to fit the unique curvature and shapes necessary of atraumatic clamping of vessels. Although this instrument could have a wide application on other vessels it is designed for use in clamping of the aorta. This instrument is comprised of premium German operating-room grade stainless steel.

This clamp feature angled shanks to increase the easy of access to the vessels as well as having a long thing jaw that allows it to move between deeper layers of tissue without displacing anything or injuring other organs of vasculature. This instrument is designed to keep a firm hold on the vessels that are being occluded but delicate enough not to bruise or tear the vessels thus reducing the amount of damage done to the patient.
