Potts-Smith Arteriotomy Scissors are designed for use in arteriotomy procedures and thus makes them ideal for use in many different cardiothoracic surgeries. This handheld instrument is crafted with two sharp blades for clean incision and dissection or arteries such as during arteriotomies. Some unique features of these scissors are the golden handles as well as the additional support of tungsten carbide inserts and a serrated lower blade that helps reduce slippage and facilitates clean cuts without tearing. This instrument is available in three different angle measures: 25, 45 and 60 degrees.
